The department of English language at the college of education for women held an online workshop on (Student Creativity Development) through Google Meet service with the aim to strengthen the mutual human and academic relations between students and faculty members in light of the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic that has afflicted the whole world. The professors encouraged the female students to demonstrate their ability in the investment of e-learning platforms as being an opportunity to present their creative potential, exchange knowledge, enhance their confidence in speaking English fluently as well as in developing their independent creative thinking.
The workshop included the participation of many female students and lecturers in video clips that focused on the national character, pride in our authentic Iraqi culture and the role played by such cultural and entertainment events in upbringing and crystallization of the student’s personality and to prepare him/her to be a conscious citizen armed with knowledge and skills acquired during the university life.
