The department of physics, in collaboration with Ibn Sina e-learning and continuing education units at the college of science held a virtual seminar entitled “Computer Experiment” via Free Conference Call website with the participation of students, professors and specialists in physics and computer science. The seminar was given by Assist. Prof. Dr. Thamer Hamid Khalaf with the aim to highlight the simulation experiment used a lot in fields related to computational physics, chemistry, biology and other similar disciplines that took new advanced dimensions in recent decades. Dr. Thamer Hamid stated that the goal of this simulation is to introduce the components of a computer, programming, the basic mathematical processes commonly adopted in theoretical and plasma physics.
