The department of antiquities at the college of arts at the University of Baghdad held a scientific symposium entitled “Protection of antiquities and cultural heritage sustainability” delivered by a number of professors with the participation of postgraduate students and representatives of the General Authority for Antiquities and Heritage of Iraq. The lecturers discussed matters related to how to shape an ambitious vision for the protection of Iraqi ancient antiquities and heritage while highlight of herniate sustainability’s procedures through the employment of modern scientific studies in this regard for the full protection of our cultural legacy.
