Assist. Prof. Dr. Maher Yahya Salloum, dean of Al-Khwarizmi college of engineering at the University of Baghdad signed a memorandum of joint scientific cooperation mechanism with the Industrial Research and Development Agency represented by the Director General Prof. Muniem Ahmed Hassan. The agreement aimed at integrating scientific capabilities and strengthening the bonds of joint scientific coordination in the fields of energy and environmental research.
The two sides agreed to open prospects of common initiatives for providing technical & engineering support and consultancy with the Iraqi Center for Corrosion as being the representative of the agency. This endeavor comes within the framework of the college’s efforts towards the integration of scientific capabilities and to activate academic and field cooperation with state institutions in the implementation and development of viable plans to enhance the scientific and technological reality in the country in accordance with the college’s vision and quality assurance requirements.
