The Directorate of Dormitories at the University of Baghdad has recently organized a wide range sterilization campaigns at all student housing complexes in light of health precautions against Covid-19 epidemic. Prof. Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan, director of the dormitories stated that ongoing sterilization processes are conducted daily for all study halls, bedrooms, administrative departments, courtyards and gardens.
Also the services and agricultural unit has initiated a cleanup campaign for the gardens, indoor and outdoor squares at al-Jadriya student complex where pesticides were sprayed out and green spaces were fertilized in conjunction with the spring season. It is noteworthy that the University of Baghdad instructed that such sanitary and clean-up measures should be carried out during the curfew to rehabilitate its infrastructure.
