The branch of public law in coordination with Ibn Sina e-learning unit at the college of law organized a scientific symposium on “The constitutional dimensions of the federal government’s relationship with the Kurdistan Region-Iraq” via Google Meet service delivered by the Assist. Prof. Dr. Musadaq Adel Talib. The lecturer examined the course of the federal government’s relationship with the Kurdistan region and the need for reshaping the constitutional relationship between the two sides.

The participants demanded among their recommendations and proposals to call on the House of Representatives to speed up the legislation of the Iraqi Federal Oil and Gas Law in a way that guarantees the benefit and fair participation of all Iraqi people and to call on the Council of Ministers to form and activate a general body to guarantee the rights of provinces and others not related to a territory, as well as to carry out a general census in order to resolve the dispute regarding the Kurdistan region’s share in the draft federal budget law.
