Assist. Prof. Dr. Faiz Jalal Kazim, a lecturer at the college of education for women has participated recently in an extensive online course via Zoom program on (Peacebuilding and conflict resolution) sponsored by Al-Amal Association with the aim at preparing and qualifying lecturers to teach this topic and to promote the role of peace makers in the country through education and honing their skills in the field of peace studies in particular.
Dr. Faiz Jalal stressed the need for understanding the basic concepts and the intellectual frameworks in the fields of peace and conflict resolution in general, as well as how to build the ability of individuals to reflect on relevant ideas from the theoretical and practical points of view in line with the Iraqi current reality.
