The journal of the college of Islamic sciences issued by the University of Baghdad has obtained recently the digital object identifier (DOI) which is a unique alphanumeric string assigned by the International DOI Foundation in order to identify content and provide a persistent link to its location on the internet.

It is noteworthy that the DOI is typically located on the first page of the electronic journal article, near the copyright notice, as well as it can be found on the database landing page for any article and it will never change even if the object itself changes its actual location. DOI therefore includes the possibility of finding the object assigned by publishers and citations such as (APA, MLA, Turabian, etc.), so it is a requirement to access in Scopus.
