The branch of poultry diseases at the college of veterinary medicine conducted a one-week training course, in cooperation with the ministry of interior, the Iraqi internal security forces and the ministry’s agency for police affairs (Directorate of police dog management and training) on “Using somatic cell gene editing (SCGE) technology to detect DNA abnormalities”. The course was organized for training the veterinary physicians affiliated with the ministry of interior to work in the veterinary hospital of the aforementioned directorate for the purpose of benefiting from the latest developments in DNA testing.
