The continuing education unit at the college of science for women held a virtual lecture entitled “Physical exercise and its relationship to nutrition and its impact on the immune system” delivered by the director of the student activities unit, Dr. Najat Baqir Mashkur via Free Conference Call website. The lecture aimed to show the importance of practicing some regular, correctional, therapeutic, building and harmonic exercises on the immune system and the need for drinking water in appropriate quantities during the day as well as eating fresh fruit and vegetables that provide the body with vitamins, minerals and the ability to exercise.

She also explained that the concept of sports activity is very popular at all age groups and that it is possible to achieve the objectives of that activity only by following training methods commensurate with the age group, health status and endurance of the body in parallel with a balanced and appropriate diet to compensate the calories consumed during this activity on one hand and to strengthen and adapt the functional organs in the human body with it on the other.
