The department of astronomy and space at the college of science at the University of Baghdad has sponsored and organized an extensive practical training program for training the first-stage students in the basics of astronomy through the use of telescopes properly as the fulfillment of the requirements of day astronomical observation essential for developing their observation skills as well as to encourage them to discover the mysteries of the universe and the most important astronomical events.
