Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad chaired a meeting with the members of university council and the directors of departments working at all formations to address a number of strategic topics that serve our beloved university. They discussed matters related to virtual platforms used in e-learning and other electronic apps used in the field of scientific promotions and dissemination of research in open access journals. Then the university members discussed the electronic incubator planned to be established and the land allocated to that project, as well as the new human resources management system (HRMS) which serves the mechanism of uploading data to speed up the completion of work through a unified database of all needed information concerning faculty and staff.
Dr. Munir al-Saadi also thanked and appreciated the efforts exerted by the deanship of the college of media in the process of claiming and verifying through the legal authorities the abuse done by some influential parties on some of the lands belonging to the University of Baghdad. At the conclusion of the session, some deans of the medical faculties gave a full explanation of certain problems, along with administrative or financial obstacles in the scientific and research fields and how to overcome them for the common good.
