The central scientific promotions committee at the University of Baghdad held its tenth session this year under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Kazim Abdul Wahid and the membership of all its members at the college of physical education and sports sciences. They discussed the fulfillment of the requirements for the academic promotion of (38) faculty members; (1) to the rank of (Professor), (25) promotions to the rank of (Assistant Professor) and (12) to the rank of (Lecturer) in different disciplines as approved by the committee.
The members also discussed a range of issues and inquiries received from staff of various university formations concerning the procedures adopted in this quest. At last, the chairman of the central committee thanked all the efforts exerted by subcommittees and staff to fulfill of this task.
