The university council has discussed recently during its 10th session a number of proposals submitted by the representatives of 16 colleges at the onset of the first academic semester concernin the student management system (SMS) adopted this year. Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad pointed out the need for commitment to the directives of the ministry of higher education and scientific research regarding electronic examinations, stressing that the final exams will be carried out in classrooms by (60%) for the basic subjects (one exam per week) after providing all health and logistics requirements in harmony with all measures of social distancing.

Dr. Munir al-Saadi stressed the adoption of PDF and PowerPoint lectures, YouTube & Telegram channels and others for e-learning, pointing out that the completion of SMS software is made in coordination with the computer center and the department of student affairs to enhance the academic reality in Iraq by providing all technical, scientific and administrative requirements for our dear students to complete their study in cooperation with the deanships.
