The college of dentistry hosted the regular meeting of the council of dental colleges in Iraqi public and private universities concerned, in accordance with the directives and instructions of the ministry of higher education and scientific research and the presidency of the University of Baghdad for discussing how to follow up and open prospects of scientific cooperation among all parties.
The deans also addressed the topic of updating curriculum and how to upgrade quality methods in the field of dentistry to keep pace with global developments in coordination with the relevant authorities for the advancement of Iraqi dentists and maximizing their status locally and internationally. The participants recommended the need to establish modern academic components and to develop treatments and proposals for the consolidation of dental colleges’ infrastructures in order to provide a suitable environment for staff and students, taking into account the current exceptional health conditions across the world.
