Assist. Prof. Dr. Hamid Shaker, the director of the dormitories at the ministry of higher education and scientific research visited the veterinary medicine complex in Baghdad accompanied by Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan to inspect the services provided for postgraduate students in terms of hygiene, registration of new students and the work performed by supervisors and guards.

The secretary of this complex Abbas Al-Suwaidi discussed the plan developed for the academic year (2020-2021) to improve services, stressing on the fulfillment of all needs in line with the continuous increase in the number of students applying this year and the ability of the complex to accommodate them. They also reviewed the sterilizaing services in accordance with a well-thought-out plan despite the current financial crisis and the exceptional circumstances imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic, the required maintenance of halls and the need to overcome the administrative and technical obstacles faced by the employees. Then Dr. Hamid Shaker met a number of residents to inquire about their housing situation who expressed their satisfaction with the facilities provided, indicating that there has been an improvement in the level of services from previous years.
