Ali Yahya Mohammed and Aqeel Sami Majid, Master students from the department of chemistry at the college of science have initiated recently a volunteer work for raising awareness on the risks of Conronavirus and ways to protect people in study and work environments under direct supervision of head of department Assist. Prof. Dr. Uday Hadi Rauf, Assist. Prof. Dr. Luma Sami Ahmed and Assist. Lecturer Sahil Abdul Hussein Ghafoori.
The postgraduate students displayed posters on a series of measures and precautions to avoid the risk of this global local epidemic and to ensure the success of the integrated education experience applied by Iraqi universities in the current academic year. They focused on the symptoms that appear on the infected person and ways for quarantine at home, as well as recommendations for hand washing, wearing masks and the urgent need for physical distancing.
