Al-Kindy college of medicine at the University of Baghdad organized an online lecture entitled “Types of Medical Education and How to Improve It” via Zoom platform which was delivered by the consultant Dr. Ali Abdul Jalil Thoini in the presence of a number of professors.

The lecture aimed to promote medical educational activities for improving individual skills and professional development at the Iraqi medical institutions. Dr. Ali Abdul Jalil reviewed the types of medical education commonly used to enhance the efficiency of medical students including a traditional pre-clinical and clinical course, an integrated systems based course, problem-based learning (PBL), case-based learning (CBL), enquiry-based learning (EBL) and multi or inter-professional learning course that are essential to follow-up the rapid and successive developments in the field of medicine.
