Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has attended recently the press conference sponsored by the ministry of higher education and scientific research to announce the results of the central admission at the Iraqi universities in the presence of the chairman of the higher education committee of the Iraqi parliament and others involved. His Excellency the minister of higher education and scientific research Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdul Sahib confirmed that the ministry has expanded the rate of students admitted to 156% according to pivotal and targeted plans due to the high success rates this year.
For his part, Dr. Munir Al-Saadi stated in a statement dedicated to the university’s news center that the university of Baghdad will receive all students according to minimum and higher rates set by the ministry in scientific and human disciplines declaring that the colleges have devoted all their logistical and academic capabilities in this regard for implementing the integrated education during the epidemic. Also he called on the deans of colleges and registration staff to exert determined efforts for the completion of requirements for enrolling students at the onset of the current academic year and to provide possible facilities for our dear students.
