Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has received recently in his office the delegation of the Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. specialized in the fields of energy engineering in the presence of his associates for scientific and administrative affairs and the director of the department of cultural relations where the CEO discussed prospects of mutual partnership between the two sides and a number of investment offers in solar and electricity energy development in educational institutions.
For his part, the rector pointed out the university’s desire to open up a Chinese center for training graduate students in coordination with the colleges of engineering, science and the university advisory offices, stressing its keenness to benefit from China’s prestigious expertise for developing student skills in the fields of oil and electrical industries.
Dr. Munir Al-Saadi also noted the topic of hosting professors from China to deliver lectures for doctoral students at the college of engineering and to exchange experiences with their Iraqi counterparts in petroleum engineering disciplines. It is noteworthy that the Science and Technology Development Co. is one of the companies specialized in electric power testing and operational capacity targeted towards managing and operating power plants through the development of clean solar energy.
