Prof. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad accompanied by the associate rector for administrative affairs and the directors of dormitories, Diwan affairs, media and public relations have visited recently the dormitory complex in Abu Ghraib to inspect the reality of the services provided to postgraduate students and the continuous sustainability of its buildings.

Also he visited the college of veterinary medicine and was received by Prof. Dr. Hamid Ali Kazim, the dean of the college and his associates for administrative and scientific affairs where he inspected departments and faculty and praised the great and distinctive efforts made by the deanship in promoting the scientific, service and administrative levels, stressing the need to continue working to develop its laboratories to be a model to be followed in this field.

Dr. Munir Al-Saadi pointed out the need to publish scientific research in international journals to enhance our university world rankings in applied sciences as well as investing medical expertise and capabilities to support students and provide the country with promising energies. The university rector urged professors to cooperate with their counterparts in other veterinary medical colleges and to establish joint committees in order to support the qualified veterinary physicians in Iraq. For his part, Dr. Hamid Ali asserted the continued coordination of the efforts exerted by all faculty and staff to rehabilitate the college on time after its transition from Al- Jadriyah complex to resume study on the onset of the new academic year.
