The Council of the University of Baghdad held its 3rd session headed by Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi where several important topics were addressed including scientific and research matters. The rector stressed the need to improve the university performance in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation to fulfill the requirements for the development of academic level of the Iraqi students in line with the educational strategies adopted by major international universities.
Dr. Munir Al-Saadi also stressed the treatment of tardiness in the process of publishing scientific research and the need to overcome the administrative bureaucracy and to use electronic archiving systems which reduce time and effort and facilitate the completion work. At the end of the session, the rector stressed the importance of preserving the practical and historical heritage of our university and its buildings, calling employees and staff to adhere to official working hours.
