Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has visited the college of education (Ibn Al-Haitham) for pure & applied sciences and was received by the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Firas Abdul Hamid Abdul Latif who provided a brief overview about the college departments, staff, curricula and the procedures that should be adopted by the committee in charge of the scientific journal to enter Scopus containers.
For his part, Dr. Firas Abdul Hamid raised some problems and obstacles faced be the deanship including wage employment, granting certificates for graduate students as well as maintenance and upgrade of laboratories and other matters related to the continuing education unit and the advisory office.
