Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has visited recently the college of engineering where he was received by dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Saba Jabbar Nehme who presented a brief account of the achievements of faculty and staff in research and applied projects as well as the new releases of its scientific journals.
For his part, the rector stressed the need to turn the college into an electronic institution that keeps pace with the advanced global education in various health conditions. Al-Saadi also attended the proceedings of a master’s discussion where he praised the efforts of faculty members, stressing the need to reflect research outputs on local sectors, adding that the engineering effort and scientific research are in positive harmony with the plans of the Mayoralty of Baghdad so there is great prospects of cooperation between the two sides to serve our community. It is noteworthy that the university rector is always stressing on integration between Iraqi universities in all service activities and the need to benefit from the Saudi experience in terms of mutual supervision of postgraduate students for the purpose of knowledge exchange, refinement of scientific skills and thus benefit from global research dissemination.
