Dr. Haitham Abdul Razzaq, a professor at the department of dramatic arts has participated in a series of international works in fields of directing and theatrical acting in France as well as in movies production in Switzerland, England and Germany.
His film “Baghdad in My Shadow” was shown in Washington, Beirut and Switzerland in which he depicted the lives of Iraqi exiles in London. Dr. Haitham Abdul Razzaq directed “The Oresteia” a trilogy of Greek tragedies written by Aeschylus in the 5th century BC, played by French actors and presented his play “East is Democratic” on the National Theatre in Besançon and Metz in France which both resonated in the French press. Also he held a training workshop at TGP Theater in Paris after the selection of five directors from India, Germany, Russia, France and Iraq to train European actors. It is noteworthy that he has acted in a supporting role in two plays: (Death of Place) presented at Peter Brook Theatre and (Hamlet without Hamlet) at the University of Paris.
