Faculty members of the department of astronomy and space have participated in an online lectures, the first one was sponsored by the Oukaïmeden Observatory in Morocco using the astrological monitoring system (Trappist) to introduce the common methods of monitoring asteroids followed by a practical monitoring process. The second lecture was about black holes organized by the Regional Center for Space Science and Technology Education for Western Asia-Jordan/UN and the Arab Union of Astronomy and Space Sciences (AUASS).
It is worth mentioning that some of professors at this department have also participated in an electronic symposium held by the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics in Egypt which included two lectures, the first on asteroids and their characteristics while the other focused on methods of practical detection of space debris for fruitful exchange of expertise.
