Assist. Prof. Dr. Qais Qasim from the institute of genetic engineering and biotechnology for graduate studies participated in an online workshop on “Manuscript writing for researchers” sponsored by Khan Institute of the University of Karachi, Pakistan.
The workshop focused on how to write a scientific research and was opened up with a lecture delivered by Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Boland Khan, a professor at the University of Karachi who addressed the obstacles faced by the researcher when writing the research and ways to address them. On the other hand, Dr. Qais Qasim talked about the importance of the style of writing a manuscript for research in a way appropriate for submission to international academic journals as well as how to enhance understanding of ethical issues related to publishing, reviewing and evaluation steps.
