Baghdad University Council resolutions – 8th session (2016)

Eighth session

Directives of the president of the council:

I: Sending scientific research promotion as a package to the external evaluators without fragmentation.

II: Activation of periodic discussions of graduate students by giving seminars to the Department in accordance with the jurisdiction after the approval of the research to learn the student March in the research and make the necessary adjustments by adding paragraphs or search address mechanism (thesis or future message) commensurate with the search path.

III: Emphasizing the importance of colleges of education in the University as its goal and outputs is to prepare qualified teachers in high levels help to raise the level of education in Iraq.

IV: Directing the president of Central Committee of scientific promotions uncles General observations that have been made in the University Council to all profiles that relate to the competence of the owner of the promotion and send the resident to the same jurisdiction research and publishing in sober scientific journals.

The council then proceeded to the consideration of the issues on its agenda and take appropriate decisions as follows:

1. Scientific promotions to professorship:

The council considered the Committee notes the central scientific promotions at its sessions, No. 134 and 149 and 158 and 162 and 168, dated 20/10 and 23/11, 9 and 21 and 29/12/2015, contained the recommendation of the Committee on scientific University Central upgrades taken its third and fourth session held on 6 and 13/10/2015, on upgrading the lecturers selves listed below to the professorship, completing the scientific upgrade requirements in terms of originality in their research and University Service:

After discussion, the council adopted resolution:

Resolution

1. Approve the upgrade if those listed above to professorship, effective dates installed about name them all for completing upgrade requirements in terms of originality in their research and service life of the University on any financial implications before the adoption of this campus.

2. Central scientific committee of promotions should submit the name of (Dr. Mohamed Hassan Hillel), Faculty of physical education and sports science (Dr. Neima Shihab Juma’/College of education for Humanities to the media and public relations department at the University, for the purpose of publication and highlight the upgraded versions of the University, for submission (five) compared to research on my own and precise jurisdiction.

3. Congratulations to those listed above for receiving the title of professorship.

2. Awarding the title of the tenured professor:

The council considered a note of Scientific Affairs Department with u p/1437 dated 25/11/2015 on the recommendation of the Committee meeting as well as Clinical Professor taken on 28/10/2015 included agreeing to refer the question of granting the title of tenured professor of retired professors listed below to the University Council for consideration.
