Baghdad University Council resolutions – 12th session

 

Twelfth session

 

Directives of the minister at the meeting of opinion body held at Wasit University:

1. Support the popular crowd and honor students participating in the popular crowd.

2. The colleges shall take its role by denouncing the attack against Iraq and education stand against University students from a large and active role.

3. Appraisal of students participating in the popular crowd, taking into consideration that and help them to make the exam 100% for Humanities as checks and after confirming their participation in the popular crowd with a formal letter.

4. Rationalize spending because of budget for this year, which is the most important exchange and important budget investment.

5. Accelerate the correctness of documents for graduate students.

6. Accelerate achievement of retirement transactions for retired professors.

7. Activate Internet service in official correspondence. Then president of the council proceeded to put up instructions for this meeting as follows:

 

Directives of president of the council: 

1. Activate Internet service in official correspondence to university departments and adoption of e-mail in their talks to reduce red tape and speed up transactions and strive to accomplish the electronic University.

2. Direct the central committee of promotions to adopt e-mail in the official correspondence for the returned transactions on the original form and stamped paper consumption to rationalize and speed of delivery.

3. Direct the dean of the college of administration and economics to hold courses within the controls to reduce routine.

4. Grant the authority to contract for renting the cafeteria and places other contracts photography colleges there is a representative of the University as a member of the safety procedures.

5. Execute university orders concerning the transfer of university teaching staff according to their residence and to take advantage of their untapped talent.

6. No study missions in current year and future seminars should be in accordance with the actual need for colleges and College bears full responsibility when nomination for the school holidays and school vacations rate parallel to mission rate is no exception.

7. Direct the deans to activate all committees of educational counseling and guiding students and encourage them to scientific excellence for Iraq.

8. Direct the deans to visit deformities to see students’ conditions and hear their problems and pursue curriculum.

9. Emphasis on uniforms and indecent assault under color uniforms.

10. Direct the deans to to appoint supervisors to monitor the students about uniforms and other things.

11. Assign a portion of the budget to maintain and provide the necessary supplies in classrooms, water supply in the halls of the impending summer and special attention to sanitation and maintenance students continuously and follow things students and the school atmosphere.

12. Take care of instructors who have great achievements and scientific talents.

 

Grant the title of a tenured professor to Prof. Dr. Tarik Nafe al-Hamdani/College of education for humanities – Ibn Rushd:

The council considered a note by the Scientific Affairs Department, No. 214, dated 11/2/2015 on the recommendation of the Commission Professor seasoned taken 3rd meeting on 4/9/2014 involved agreeing to refer the question of granting the title of tenured professor to Professor Dr. Tarik Nafe al-Hamdani/ College of education for humanities – Ibn Rushd for consideration according to the book No. p/28 of 9/2/2015 and after the debate, the council adopted resolution:

 

Resolution

Approve to grant the title of tenured professor to Professor Dr. Tarik Nafe al-Hamdani/ College of education for humanities – Ibn Rushd based on the instructions No. 161 of 2010.

 

Extend the university service of the professors:

The council considered extending the service life of the lecturers diary administrative section with 513 and 514 and 672 and 683 and 684 dated 15 and 24/2/2015 on the recommendation of the Board of the faculties of both fine arts and Sciences included agreeing to extend the service life of the employees listed in the table below, based on the provisions of article (11/I/b) of the second amendment to University Service Act (1) for the year 2014.

 

Resolution

Agree to extend the service life of the employees listed in the table above only for a period of one year, based on the provisions of article (11/I/b) of the second amendment to University Service Act (1) for the year 2014.

 

Cooperation mechanism/Al-Khwarizmi college of engineering:

The council considered the University Council book number 40/890 18/2/2015 on recommendation algorithm Engineering College (II/validity of Mr Rector) of the minutes of the 12th meeting of the Faculty Council and involved agreeing to include the research of the master student (Jassim Adi Harbi) entitled:  ( Scada system implementation in monitoring of cathodic protection system for oil pipelines ). Within the mechanism of cooperation with the Ministry of oil/oil products distribution company, based on the collaboration mechanism help Ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related Ministry (160) for 2009.

 

Resolution

Approve the inclusion of Masters student research project (Jassim plain war) above under the cooperation mechanism with the Ministry of oil/oil products distribution company based on the instruction of a cooperation mechanism the Ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related Ministry (160) for 2009.

 

Mechanism of cooperation/Faculty of engineering:

The council considered the engineering faculty book number o/40 at 24/2/2015 on the Commission recommendation on College mentioned in its fifth meeting held on 15/2/2015 included:

1. Approve the contract of the teaching staff with Carr Company based on cooperation mechanism with the ministry of higher education and scientific research with relevant ministries and non-related ministry (160) for 2009.

 

2. Approve the nomination of Assistant Professor Dr. Amer Hasan Salih/ head of water resources department within the joint working group to address the fouling of the Ministry of water resources based on cooperation mechanism with the ministry of higher education and scientific research with relevant ministries and non-related ministry (160) for 2009.

 

Resolution

 

1. Approve the contract of the teaching staff with Carr Company based on cooperation mechanism with the ministry of higher education and scientific research with relevant ministries and non-related ministry (160) for 2009.

 

2. Approve the nomination of Assistant Professor Dr. Amer Hasan Salih/ head of water resources department within the joint working group to address the fouling of the Ministry of water resources based on cooperation mechanism with the ministry of higher education and scientific research with relevant ministries and non-related ministry (160) for 2009.

 

Mechanism of cooperation/Graduate Institute for accounting and financial studies

 

The council considered a note by the Scientific Affairs Division numbered 306 on 1/3/2015 on the recommendation of the Committee on cooperation mechanism in higher Institute of accounting and financial studies included approving membership Dr. Haitham Abdul Khaliq Ismail at the Institute teaching as an expert on the Board of the Pension Fund and social security for workers/Ministry of labor and Social Affairs based on cooperation mechanism help Ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related Ministry (160) for 2009, after the debate, the Council adopted resolution follows:

Approve the membership of Dr. Haitham Abdul Khaliq Ismail at the higher Institute for teaching accounting and financial studies as an expert on the Board of the Pension Fund and social security for workers/Ministry of labor and Social Affairs, based on the collaboration mechanism with the ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related ministry (160) for 2009.
