Baghdad University Council resolutions – 8th session

 

Eighth session

 

Grant the title of a tenured professor:

 

The council considered Scientific Affairs notes, No. 1043 and 1071 and 1091 dated on 14, 21 and 23/12/2014 on the recommendation of the Commission Professor seasoned taken its third and fourth sessions in 4/9 and 27/10/2014 contained refer the question awarded a tenured professor of the masters listed in the table below to the University Council for consideration.

 

Resolution

 

Approve the title of a tenured professor to the employees in the above mentioned selves because of the conditions set forth in the instructions window and put planning Professor seasoned with 161 of 2010.

 

Extend the university service of Dr. Hassan Yusuf Inad al-Najar/Faculty of medicine:

 

The council considered the administrative affairs section notes number 6726 dated 12/12/2014 on the recommendation of the Council of the College of medicine involved agree to extend the duration of the teaching service mentioned in the table below, based on the provisions of article (11/I/b) of the second amendment to University Service Act (1) for the year 2014.

 

Resolution

 

Approval to extend the service life of a good Carpenter obstinacy Yusuf/medicine based on the provisions of article (11/I/b) of the second amendment to University Service Act (1) for the year 2014.

 

Change some subjects for master and PhD studies/Faculty of education for humanities/Ibn Rushd:

The council considered a note by the Scientific Affairs Department, No. 1061 dated 18/12/2014 and the annex to the recommendation of the Board of Faculty of education for humanities/Ibn Rushd taken fourth meeting held on 21/10/2014 involved changing some subjects for masters and PhD, modern history minor specialization of Islamic history, as follows:

1. Replace the article (modern and contemporary Arab political thought) in Chapter 1/ PhD/modern history rather than the subject of the history of political thought in modern Iraq.

2. Replace the article (studies in modern and contemporary social Iraqi history) in Chapter 2/MA/modern history instead of studies in the history of modern Egypt and Sudan 1805-1914.

3. Develop the subject of (studies in the history of modern and contemporary of southern African desert) in Chapter 2/PhD/ modern history.

4. Develop the subject of (the spread of Islam in the Indian subcontinent) in chapter II/ PhD/Islamic history. The above mentioned department stated that it checked the curricula after amendment.

 

Resolution

Approve change of some subjects for masters and PhD specialization history and Islamic history minor doctoral education faculty of Humanities/Averroes, given the evolution of political events and the need to introduce these subjects at this time as follows:

1. Replace the article (modern and contemporary Arab political thought) in Chapter 1/ PhD/modern history rather than the subject of the history of political thought in modern Iraq.

2. Replace the article (studies in modern and contemporary social Iraqi history) in Chapter 2/MA/modern history instead of studies in the history of modern Egypt and Sudan 1805-1914.

Second extension for students of Institute of genetic engineering and biotechnology for postgraduate studies:

The council considered a note, No. d p/37 dated 21/1/2015 on the recommendation of the Board of the Institute of genetic engineering and biotechnology for postgraduate studies taken sixth meeting held on 29/12/2014 contained approve granting second extension of asylum seekers (Joan Jawad Abdul Kadhim, a terrific sense of cream), for 3 months for the purpose of completing the study requirements, after seeing the first topic and the reasons for requesting the extension, the Council adopted resolution follows:

 

Resolution

1. Approve the extension of study master’s student (Joan Jawad Abdel-Kadhim)/Institute for genetic engineering and biotechnology for graduate studies for three months.

2. Approve the extension of study master’s student (cream Hassouni) Institute of genetic engineering and biotechnology for postgraduate studies for two months only after completing study requirements.

 

Second extension for students of laser Institute for postgraduate students:

The council considered a note, No. d p/45, dated 13/1/2015 on laser Institute Council recommendation for graduate studies taken 5th meeting held on 23/12/2014 involved agreeing to extend a number of graduate students listed in below second extension for the purpose of completing the study requirements:

1. Rawa Kazim Zarzor.                                                                                                           

2. Sala Ali Hamdy.

3. Asma Abdul Sattar.

4. Hiba Esam.

5. Nada Hussein.

After discussion, the council adopted resolution:

 

Resolution

Agree to extend the duration of the study a number of graduate students in laser Institute of higher studies listed in the below extensions II according to the duration shown about name them all for the purpose of completing the study requirements.

 

Mechanism of cooperation /Faculty of media:

The council considered a note of Scientific Affairs Section numbered 1083 on 22/12/2014 on the recommendation of the Committee on cooperation mechanism in Faculty of information at its first meeting, held on 14/12/2014 contained commissioned Dr. Mohammed Jassim, teaching the College District Membership Advisory information operations cell of the National Security Council – national security advisers as media consultant based on cooperation mechanism help Ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related Ministry (160) for 2009, after the debate, the Council adopted resolution:

 

Resolution

Approve the assignment. Mohammed Jassim, teaching at the College District media advisory information operations cell membership of the National Security Council – national security advisers as media consultant based on cooperation mechanism with the ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related ministry (160) for 2009.

 

Mechanism of cooperation/Faculty of engineering:

The council considered my book pages are engineering q/236, 3 dated 29/12/2014 and 5/1/2015 on the Commission recommendation on College mentioned in the first and second meeting convened on 17/12/2013 and 4/1/2015 containing:

1. Approve the contracted employees of the environmental engineering department listed below with Baghdad Baghdad sewer Dept/boot partition to remove suspended particles system in wastewater using electromagnetic field:

-Dr. Haidar Mohamed Abdul Hamid

-N. m. Mona Yusuf Abdul Ahad

-Ahmed Essam

-Engineer: Safa Hamid Fadel

-Engineer: Daad Saad

Based on cooperation mechanism with the ministry of higher education and scientific research and relevant ministries or non-related ministry (160) for 2009.

2. Approve the nomination of Professor Nejdt Nashat Abdullah in teaching mechanical engineering department to work as a consultant in the ministry of water resources/engineering designs and Studies Center.

Based on cooperation mechanism with the ministry of higher education and scientific research with relevant ministries and non-related ministry (160) for 2009.

2. Approve the nomination of Professor Nejdt Nashat Abdullah in teaching mechanical engineering department to work as a consultant in the ministry of water resources/engineering designs and Studies Center.

 

(PTE) Test:

The council considered the book Babylon University/Scientific Assistant Service/Department of missions and cultural relations with number x/5960 of 25/12/2014 and accompanies the book Ministry of higher education and scientific research/mission service and cultural relations with 8187 number of 27/11/2014 on test (PTE) where is this test of global tests adopted throughout the world for the purpose of urging students to perform this test being easy with the admission procedures of international universities.

 

Resolution

Send the book of Babylon University/Scientific Assistant Service/Department of missions and cultural relations, No. x/5960 of 25/12/2014 and accompanies the book Ministry of higher education and scientific research/mission service and cultural relations with 8187 number of 27/11/2014 for formations University to review it and make use of it and urged the students to implement it.
