Baghdad University Council resolutions – 5th session
Fifth session
I: Direct the central committee for promotions to inform subcommittees in formations to provide summarized biography of resident experts for scientific research with the upgrade.
II: Emphasizing the boards of faculties and centers to take enough time to study the scientific upgrade transactions prior to the tenure Committee headed by Central University.
III: Direct the central committee for promotions to inform subcommittees on the lecturers to acceptable research publication for the purposes of scientific promotions need to report the complete published in magazines.
IV: Direct the central committee for promotions to send someone to upgrade research external experts in an Arab country and the other in a foreign country to increase reliability of research provided to inform experts in Arabic and foreign State papers of University teaching.
VA: Emphasis on scientific committees of our formations promotions install general jurisdiction and flour as mentioned in it for certification.
VI: Promoting our textbook publishing in international journals increased citation of research which helps in defining the world teaching and university research to increase university ranking in global categories.
VII: A specified deadline to provide compensatory or compensatory research treatment upgrade to all levels if needed.
VIII: Cancel the date of providing compensatory search (or compensating research) and as the date of submission of the application and date of compensatory research note at the end of the application submission date I describes as controls.
IX: Directing the Scientific Affairs Division to be awarded the title form tenured professor standardized electronic form, fill in the information for each Professor by Professor write recommendation at the end of the form.
X: Update of curriculum in primary and higher studies as required by the labour market and to be updated curriculum as a step towards addressing the lack of practical aspects and this is the place.
XI: Direct the deans to develop strategic plans for the construction of teaching resources in the long term and creating the lecturers in all disciplines and encourage them to upgrade to complete educational process after assignment of teachers to retire as controls.
Scientific promotions:
The council considered the notes by the Central Committee of scientific promotions No.120 and 125 dated 13/10 and 2/11/2014, contained the recommendation of the Committee of the whole central scientific upgrades taken by its first and second sessions in 16 and 28/9/2014, on upgrading the lecturers selves listed below to the professorship, completing the scientific upgrade requirements in terms of originality in their research and University Service.
Resolution
1. Approve the upgrade of those listed above teachers professorship, effective dates installed about name them all for completing upgrade requirements in terms of originality in their research and service life of the University on any financial implications before the adoption of this campus.
2. Sending congratulations to selves trainers listed in the above to receive the title of professorship.
Grant the title of a tenured professor:
The council considered Scientific Affairs department’ notes No.790 and 821, 839 f 860 f 876 and 901 dated 14 and 28 September and 2, 16 and 26/10, 6/11/2014 and experienced Professor Committee minutes circulated taken third meeting held on 4/9/2014, based on authentication of the rector on 10/9/2014 on meeting minutes, note that the section let us know under 914 number note dated 10/11/2014 to complete the information required for some The lecturers by the record above, as follows:
1. a. d. Riyad Aziz Hadi/Faculty of political science.
2. a. d. Faleh Hassan Musa/ College of education for pure sciences/al Haitham.
3. a. d. Jaafar Abbas Hamidi/College of engineering.

Approve awarded a tenured professor:
-Dr. Riyadh Aziz Hadi/Faculty of political science.
-Dr. Faleh Hassan Musa/College of education for pure sciences/al Haitham.
-Dr. Jaffar Abbas Hamidi/Faculty of education for humanities/Ibn Rushd.
Due to the conditions set forth in the instructions concerning the condition of the tenured professor, No.161 of 2010.
