Study to develop a high diploma and a proposal to make the acceptance of a central section in petroleum engineering

   The President of the Council of the University of Baghdad professor, Dr. Musa Jawad al-Mousawi guided Dean of the College of Engineering, to study the proposal to make application to the Department of Petroleum Engineering centrally and not direct, came in during the University Council in its last session , stressing the importance of this Department and the presence of a request from the graduates of junior high school and be highly motivated to meet the needs of the country of this important sector.

   The Council also recommended approval of the recommendations of the special scientific committee which was formed to study the development of study Higher Diploma in the Department of Petroleum Engineering in the college of Engineering to accept the employees of the Ministry of Oil accordane to the instructions of graduate studies admission. Also it wil be available to all who wish to study in accordance with the regulations in force.It wil.as a prelude to re-display it to the Council of University at a future meeting for the purpose of discussion and a statement of opinion about it. calling on the Council of College of Engineering developed the proportion within the plan acceptance to employees of the Ministry of Oil as the beneficiary in order to develop the skills of its members as well as to enhance the prospects of cooperation between the University of Baghdad and other state institutions.
