Scientific and Cultural Exchanges with Canadian Universities
In order to develop cultural relations and academic exchange between Baghdad University and Canadian universities, the President of the University of Baghdad professor, Dr. Musa al-Musawi received the Canadian charge d’affaires (Eves Duval) and talked about the development of academic relations between the University of Baghdad and Canadian universities. This visit is considered the first of the Canadian Embassy to the University of Baghdad after it was in the Jordanian capital Amman. Dr. Musa al-Musawi also spoke about the agreements conducted by the University with different countries and expressed his desire to cooperate with Canadian universities to send students and the scientific competent instructors for the purpose of development and training, noting the agreements concluded by the university with many international universities. The Canadian charge d’affaires expressed his happiness to visit the University of Baghdad, praised its beautiful location and scientific status and reflect his ambition to strengthen the academic ties between the University of Baghdad and Canadian universities. Dr. Musa al-Musawi has submitted some estimated gifts for the Canadian charge d’affaires in memory of the University of Baghdad.
