Al-Kindy college of medicine holds a symposium on asthma and the modern methods of treatment

Al-Kindy college of medicine at the university of Baghdad organized a specialized scientific symposium on asthma, the reasons behind its spread and methods of treatment. A number of professors from the college and everywhere participated in such as prof. Dr.Adnan al-Jubouri, prof. Dr. Abdul Hamid al-Kasser, Dr. Ahmed Abid Marzuk, assistant prof. Dr. Ali al-Obeidi, Dr. Imas Kareem and Dr. Muthana al-Asal. Asthma spread in a rapid way recently where it affects one out of four children in cities and it is a chronic respiratory disease characterized by inflammation in the airways, affecting males and females in all stages of life causing speed of breath and coughing. One of its causes can be the genetic factor, allergy or smoking. The session ended with opening the door for dialogue between the researcher and instructors and doctors to identify the modern methods of treatment.
