The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, welcomed a delegation from the Media and Communications Commission to discuss ways of mutual cooperation between the two sides. The meeting was attended by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, and the Director of the Media and Government Communication Department, Dr. Harith Muhammad.
The two sides discussed the possibility of opening new avenues for joint cooperation, introducing fifth-generation networks, working with a new vision, and moving towards smart universities, colleges of artificial intelligence, and innovation centers. This aligns with the global trend towards digital transformation in education.
The meeting also included discussions on the possibility of developing the staff of both institutions and how the Media and Communications Commission can support the university’s work. Additionally, the necessity of providing the Commission with expertise from the university’s faculty was emphasized to initiate modern technological steps in building information and communications technology.
