University of Baghdad Hosts Children of Al-Khalani Cultural Foundation in Humanitarian Initiative to Nurture Their Talents

The College of Engineering, in cooperation with the Student Activities Department at the University of Baghdad, organized a visit by the orphaned children of the Al-Khalani Cultural Foundation to the Student Activities Department, as part of humanitarian and community initiatives aimed at supporting and caring for orphaned children.

The visit included a tour of the department’s facilities, particularly the Artistic Activity Division, during which the children learned about the nature of the artistic activities and events it organizes, and the opportunities it offers to develop their talents, strengthen their creative abilities, and open new horizons that help them build a better future.

This initiative comes within the framework of the University of Baghdad’s commitment to strengthening its community and humanitarian role and consolidating the values of solidarity and mutual support, as such events help alleviate the suffering of orphaned children and provide a stimulating environment for developing their talents and boosting their self-confidence.

This activity contributes to achieving a number of the Sustainable Development Goals, namely Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities), in addition to Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
