The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, received the Deputy Qatari Ambassador in Iraq, Mr.Abdullah bin Jibran.The meeting was attended by the Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, the Director of the Media and Government Communication Department , and the Director of the President’s Office.
The meeting included discussions on ways to enhance academic and scientific cooperation between the University of Baghdad and Qatari universities. They discussed opportunities for student and faculty exchanges, the exchange of expertise among researchers in various fields, and the possibility of signing cooperation agreements between two sides, as well as establishing joint research projects.
In turn, Ansaf invited Qatari students to take advantage of the “Study in Iraq” program launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This visit marks a step towards strengthening academic and cultural relations between Iraq and Qatar, serving the educational process in both brotherly countries.
