Al-Kindy college of medicine
at the university of Baghdad organized  its first scientific symposium for the current school year dealt with discussing the renovation of the college curriculum in the presence of members of the Committee on modernizing curricula and a number of faculty members in the basic branches of medicine and representatives of the first three grades. 
During the symposium which was attended by Dean Prof. Dr. Sadik Al-Muktar, the old curriculum were compared with the modern ones that are followed by the corresponding medical schools in global universities in order to keep up with the scientific developments in the medical academic field. The attendees  exchanged ideas and visions in order to achieve agreement on updating the curricula.

Al-Kindy college of medicine discussed with collaboration with Meeva pharmaceutical company and Al-Kindy Teaching Hospital in a symposium the lectures given on the latest developments in the treatment of diabetes “Recent advances in oral hypoglycemic” by Dr. Ali Al- Saadi, representative of Meeva pharmaceutical company and the lecture was attended by a number of professors and the  physicians of Al-Kindy Teaching Hospital .
