Discussing the Requirements of the University Hospitals in the College of Medicine/ Baghdad University
Baghdad Medical College hosted a high-level medical team from Harvard University which consists of four specialists in diseases and cancers of the blood , bone marrow transplants and pollution control. An Italian team from the University of Rome accompanied the medical team, which is composed of five specialists in similar terms of reference.On the other context the college hosted a committee charged with putting the requirements of the work of the university hospitals in the presence of Chairman of the Iraqi Commission for Medical Specialties and a number of deans of medical colleges in Baghdad.During the meeting, a thorough discussion of the requirements to be working out in the management and operation of the university hospitals and the Commission has reached recommendations that can be in the framework of the development controls, including community service and to develop a basis for management controls of the university hospital under construction at the University of Medical Science and pharmaceuticals Ibn Sina in Baghdad.
During the three days, lectures were delivered to medical professors and specialists in the protection of children Hospital and several meetings held. The impact of the visit was positive on both sides and it was successful by all standards.
