The Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad has recently organized a seminar entitled “The cosmology of Dr. Mohammed Basel al-Taie” presented by by Prof. Dr. Riad Saeed Latif. The lecturer at first addressed matters related to the character of Dr. Mohammed Basil Jassim Mohammed al-Taie, who is an Iraqi physicist specialized in quantum theory and general relativity theory and is currently a professor of cosmic physics at Yarmouk University in Jordan.

In 1972, Mohammed al-Taie wrote a book on public and private relativity which he submitted to the rector of the University of Baghdad then and who sent it wrote to the scientific reviewer, Prof. Dr. Sami Hassan al-Samarrai, the professor of physics who approved the book without knowing that the author is still a student. In 2010, Dr. Mohammed al-Taie wrote many books, including: Basics of astrology and calendars, the Islamic vision of the philosophy of nature, The becoming of the universe, Runways of science and meanings of faith, also he was in charge of writing one chapter of Abdel Hamid Shoman Encyclopedia which was called “The Harvest of the Century”.
