The Dean of the College of Engineering Visits the Italian Embassy
Prof. Qasim Mohammad Dos (Ph.D.), dean of the College of Engineering, visited the Italian embassy in Baghdad. In this visit he was accompanied by Mr. Ali Kamal, the director of the division of Europe and America in the Scholarship & Cultural Relations Directorate. There was a meeting with senior officials at the embassy in which matters of mutual cooperation were discussed. The Italian officials exhibited a strong desire to strengthen the cooperation with the college of engineering in the University of Baghdad; they offered 5 scholarships for MSc study in aeronautics engineering. The dean of the College of Engineering delivered an introductory lecture about the history, achievements and importance of the College of Engineering in Iraq and he also stated that the college will celebrate its 90th establishment anniversary next month.
