Baghdad University Council resolutions – 9th session
Ninth session
The council considered the Central Committee of scientific promotions notes in whole, No. 145, 155 dated 17/12/2014 and 12/1/2015 Scientific Committee’s recommendation, contained in the omnibus promotions taken by the sixth meeting held on 27/11/2014 and the University Council resolutions referred to the tenure Committee, on upgrading the lecturers selves listed below to the professorship, completing the scientific upgrade requirements in terms of originality in their research and University Service.
1. Approve the upgrade gentlemen trainers listed above to the professorship, effective dates installed about name them all for completing upgrade requirements in terms of originality in their research and service life of the University on any financial implications before the adoption of this campus.
2. Sending congratulations to gentlemen trainers listed in the above to receive the title of professorship.
3. The Scientific Committee of the University’s central promotions graduation (Dr. Hussein Dakil Zoihi)/college of education for humanities/Ibn Rushd to media and public relations department at the University, for the purpose of publication and highlight that promotion in publications for research was distinguished by originality.
Curriculum development for postgraduate studies for master degree at surveying engineering department/Faculty of engineering:
The council considered a note by the Department of scientific affairs No. 4, dated 4/1/2015 on the subject curriculum for graduate studies for master degree of engineering surveying Department/Faculty of engineering containing edit and add courses, where between the section above that was checked as complete and match the exponential and Alder curriculum units, and after the debate, the council adopted resolution:
Resolution
Approve the curriculum for graduate studies for master degree of engineering surveying Department/Faculty of engineering containing edit and add subjects in terms of complete and match the curricula and their units.
Mechanism of cooperation/Faculty of arts:
The council considered two memoranda academic affairs section No. 62 and 66 on 14 and 15/1/2015:
1. Dr. Rasoul mutlaq Mohammed at the Faculty of Arts to be free one day a week to share membership advisory information operations cell of the National Security Council based on the collaboration mechanism help Ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related Ministry (160) for 2009.
2. Charge Dr. Haider Farhan Hussein teaching in the Faculty of Arts for one day a week to work with the Baghdad provincial Council/Commission for tourism and Antiquities formed cooperation mechanism based on the instructions of Ministry of higher education and scientific research with the ministries and bodies not linked to Ministry (160) for 2009.
Resolution
1. Approve that Dr. Rasoul mutlaq Mohammed/teaching staff at the Faculty of Arts to be free for one day a week to share membership advisory information operations cell of the National Security Council based on the collaboration mechanism help Ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related Ministry (160) for 2009.
2. Approve the assignment Dr. Haider Farhan Hussein/teaching staff at the Faculty of Arts for one day a week to work with the Baghdad provincial Council/Commission for tourism and Antiquities formed cooperation mechanism based on the instructions of Ministry of higher education and scientific research with the ministries and bodies not linked to Ministry (160) for 2009.
Mechanism of cooperation/Faculty of education for humanities – Ibn Rushd:
The council considered a note by the Scientific Affairs Division numbered 88 22/1/2015 on empty listed below professors of the Faculty of education for humanities – Ibn Rushd for one day a week to cooperate with higher Institute for security and administrative development of the Ministry of the Interior to accomplish a particular author in English for police officers:
1. Dr. shaimaa Abdul Baki Ibrahim
2. Dr. Salam Hamid Abbas
Based on the cooperation mechanism with the ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related ministry (160) for 2009:

The council considered the engineering faculty’ book, No. x/23 27/1/2015 on the recommendation of the Committee on cooperation mechanism in College mentioned in its fourth meeting held on 21/1/2015 included approval of a contract (Dr. Haidar Mohammed Makiah) with the ministry of Justice to act as consultant, based on cooperation mechanism with the ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related ministry (160) for 2009.
