Baghdad University Council resolutions – 3rd session
Third session
Directives of president of the council:
I: Emphasize the University profiles boards taking the time to review and study the scientific upgrade transactions before it is sent to the Central Committee of scientific promotions University Presidency.
II: Direct the deans of University formations to send scientific upgrade transactions to professors at the University of Baghdad in the absence of jurisdictional professors sent to professors at other universities (and documented in official books).
III: Direct the deans of University formations to provide biography of external evaluators for scientific research of scientific promotions in their deployment in abbreviated form on their place and supervise graduate students and scientific research.
IV: Form a postgraduate admissions plan within the possibilities available for the formation of laboratories and classrooms.
V: Emphasize the pillars of all profiles directing graduate students not to banquets or giving gifts to members of the discussion during the discussion.
VI: Directing the director of quality assurance Department and University performance with proposals from kiss on the upgrading of Baghdad University in QS ranking on the pillars of all profiles to work with these proposals.
VII: Emphasis on University researchers concerning routing configurations Deans named Iraqi journals to identify the names of research during their deployment research in foreign magazines.
VIII: Promoting educational University publishing in magazines Scopus to raise the scientific level of the University.
IX: All university formations should document patents in their deployment of Scientific Affairs Department for use in the quality assurance Department and University performance.
X: Supplementary exams be scheduled every common colleges and the deadline for exam performance is on 1/11/2014.
Scientific promotions:
The council considered the Committee notes the central scientific promotions, No.78 and 79 dated 25/6/2014, contained the recommendation of the Committee of the whole central scientific upgrades taken by its twenty-third and twenty-fourth sessions on 10 and 18/6/2014, on upgrading the lecturers selves listed below to the professorship, completing the scientific upgrade requirements in terms of originality in their research and University Service.
Resolution
1. Approve the upgrade selves listed above teachers professorship, effective dates installed about name them all for completing upgrade requirements in terms of originality in their research and service life of the University on any financial implications before the adoption of this campus.
2. Sending congratulations to selves trainers listed in the above to receive the title of professorship.
3. The committee should submit the following names:
-Dr. Ali Mohammed Karim Mahdi
-Dr. Ghassan Hashim Thamer
