Baghdad University Council resolutions – 18th session
Eighteenth session
Directives of president of the council:
I. Direct the boards to form central promotions committee composition regarding the research addresses provided for upgrades to give real meaning to the content of this research to provide high level research raise the scientific level of sober College.
II. Direct central promotions committee to check instructions for promotions and their applicability to transactions of scientific promotions especially sent to experts at the University of Baghdad (at least one) before submission to the Council of the League.
III. Each research work contexts discipline determined by the scientific committees in departments and branches.
IV. Role of boards in raising profiles resident research to increase scientific scientific sobriety promotions for College.
V. Emphasis on committees of scientific promotions of appropriate lecturers who scientific qualities and perfect complete scientific and promotions sent to the experts (residents) in sober universities.
Vi. Presence of the dean at some of the meetings of the Scientific Committee of the branches and departments to establish scientific research promotion.
VII. Any non-compliant controls and guidance on University Council returned to college before the Central Committee of scientific promotions before they are presented to the Council.
VIII. End upgrades after upgrade owner objection scientific evaluation research by sending experts and research were not the result of intercept beside offering treatment upgrade again when new research serves as the controls.
IX. Committees of scientific experts evaluate promotions (residents) who send them scientific research promotion, whether positive or negative evaluation, and in the case of tarry sub committees are changed promotions committees above preserving the scientific level and sedate scientific research promotion.
X. College found boards scientific micromanaging upgrade treatment and also see the names of resident experts and research universities that operate while providing treatment to them.
XI. Directing the university council members need to hold meetings and seminars on hearsay and psychological warfare against the Iraqi people and interviews with employees urging them not to hear rumors and psychological warfare and culture of spirit link to homeland and national unity.
XII. Any incompatible transaction of students currently in the internal sections disclaimers only requests from students who have finished their internal divisions.
XIII. Abolition of the employee must be a book acknowledgement directed to him personally and reflecting scientific achievement in accordance with instructions from the Minister.
XIV. Obligation to controls during the summer holidays and entitlement of teachers just for summer vacation leave in accordance with the law of University Service and the rest of the employees within the public service act in accordance with their entitlement. Then it discussed the issues in the agenda and take appropriate decisions as follows:
Scientific promotions:
The council considered a note by the President of the Central Committee of scientific promotions in whole number 57, 80, 81, dated 21/5 and 25/6/2014, on upgrading the lecturers selves listed below to the professorship, completing the scientific upgrade requirements in terms of originality in their research and University Service. After discussion and opinion of scientific promotions, the council adopted resolution:
Resolution
1. Approve the upgrade selves listed above teachers professorship, effective dates installed about name them all for completing upgrade requirements in terms of originality in their research and service life of the University on any financial implications before the adoption of this campus.
2. Sending congratulations to selves trainers listed in the above to receive the title of professorship.
3. Promotion committee at university should submit the following names:
-Dr. Osama Ahmed Hussein
-Dr. Huda Shihab Jar
Extension of university service of some faculty members:
The council considered the notes by the administrative section with number 2611 and 2653 dated 23 and 25/6/2014 contained faculty and Arts Council recommendation concerning the extension of the educational service names mentioned in the table below, based on the provisions of article 11/I/b of the second amendment to University Service Act (1) for the year 2014.
Resolution
Agree to extend the service life of both Kawkab Jacob Saour/college of pharmacy & Prof. Nusseibeh Mohammed Yahya/Faculty of arts for one year based on the provisions of article 11/I/b of the second amendment to University Service Law number 1 year 2014 due to the need of their faculties to specialization.
Mechanism of cooperation/approval of postgraduate students’ researches/Faculty of engineering:
The council considered the written Engineering College with o/201, 202, 203, 208, 209, on 18 and 23/6/2014, on the recommendations of the Committee for the cooperation mechanism for the adoption of a number of postgraduate research contained in the minutes of the 9th meeting and 13 sessions in 15/1, 26/3/2014 as follows:
1. Adoption of the doctoral student research (Zeinab Hussein Rauf)/Department of architecture with the National Centre for engineering consultancy/Ministry of construction and housing.
2. Approval of the research master’s student (sometimes Osama despair)/Department of architecture with the National Centre for engineering consultancy/Ministry of construction and housing.
3. Approval of the research master’s student (Mohammad Jafar kazar)/space engineering department with the legal department/general body size/Ministry of water resources.
4. Adoption of the master’s student research (prospects keep Melih)/civil engineering with the University of Baghdad.
5. Adoption of the research master’s student (Tigers cute Jassim)/civil engineering with the University of Baghdad. Based on the cooperation mechanism with the ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related ministry (160) for 2009.
Resolution
Approval of the recommendations of the Commission of the cooperation mechanism in Faculty of engineering for the adoption of a number of research postgraduate students listed in sequence (1-5) above, based on the collaboration mechanism help Ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related Ministry (160) for 2009 that doesn’t conflict with the help and supervision of graduate students in number and scientific levels.
Mechanism of cooperation/College of education for women:
The council considered a note by the Scientific Affairs Division, number 559 of 30/6/2014 on the recommendation of the Committee on cooperation mechanism in College of education for girls in its third meeting held on 12/6/2014 involved approving to grant Dr. Hasan Mindeel one day a week in the Office of Shiite Waqf/secretariat of the attractions to provide specialized studies Center Consulting and comprehensive scientific encyclopedia for Shi’a Sharif in Iraq based on the instructions of cooperation mechanism of ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related ministry (160) for 2009.
Resolution
Approving of granting Dr. Hasan Mindeel at the college of education for women one day a week to work in the Office of Shiite Waqf/secretariat of the attractions to provide specialized studies Center Consulting and comprehensive scientific encyclopedia for Shi’a Sharif in Iraq based on cooperation mechanism of the ministry of higher education and scientific research with relevant ministries and non-related ministry (160) for 2009.
