Baghdad University Council resolutions – 16th session

 

Sixteenth session

 

Scientific promotions:

The council considered the notes by the President of the Central Committee of scientific promotions, No. 58 and 35 dated 17/11/2013 and 25/3/2014, contained the recommendation of the Committee of the whole central scientific upgrades taken with its 6 and 15 held on 29/10/2013 and 2014/3/11, on upgrading the lecturers selves listed below to the professorship, completing the scientific upgrade requirements in terms of originality in their research and University Service. After discussion, the council adopted resolution:

 

Resolution

1. Approve the upgrade selves listed above teachers to professorship, effective dates installed about name them all for completing upgrade requirements in terms of originality in their research and service life of the University on any financial implications before the adoption of this campus.

2. Sending congratulations to selves trainers listed in the above to receive the title of professorship.

 

Extension of university service for faculty members:

The council considered the notes by the administrative section with Setup 2289 and 2292 dated 2/6/2014 contained the recommendation of the council of the faculty of agriculture, approving the extension of service of teachers mentioned their names below for three years based on the provisions of article 11/I/b of the second amendment to University Service Act (1) for the year 2014. After discussion, the council adopted resolution:

 

Resolution

Agree to extend the service of trainers listed in the table above for one year based on the provisions of article 11/I/b of the second amendment to University Service Act (1) for the year 2014.

 

Cancellation of the penalty for some faculty staff and members:

The council considered the legal affairs section notes with numbers 1244, 1310, 1321, dated 8, 18 and 19/5/2014, circulated a list of teaching staff and some University profiles listed in the table below those who accuse repeal the sanction imposed against them, based on the provisions of articles 13 and 21 of the law on discipline of public servants and the public sector (14) of 1991 as amended. After discussion, the council adopted resolution:

 

Resolution

Agree to cancel sanctions against some staff teaching University profiles listed in the above based on the provisions of articles 13 and 21 of the law on discipline of public servants and public sector 14 of 1991 as amended.

 

Assigning the date of students’ graduation/first phase for the school year (2013-2014) (session of peace and development):

The council considered a note by the Student Affairs Department, confirmations with u/FS/4655 dated 19/5/2004 on the approval of our colleges graduation date/by year 2013-2014 (session of peace and development), since near the end of the school year, so I suggest the section above to be on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 deadline for graduate students, the Assistant Rector for Scientific Affairs, margin is installed on the partition note out on 21/5/2014 that proposes To date, 20 July 2014, to remedy any emergency may happen regarding exams medical group, and after the debate, the Council adopted resolution:

 

Resolution

The adoption on 15/7/2014 date for our college students graduated from the first floor of the school year 2013-2014.

 

Mechanism of cooperation/approval of postgraduate students’ researches/Faculty of engineering:

The council considered the written Engineering College with o/173, 176, 177, 178, 179, 180, 184 on 27, 28, 29/5, 1/6/2014, on the recommendations of the Committee for the cooperation mechanism for the adoption of a number of postgraduate research contained in the minutes of its 9:14 sessions in 15/1 and 16/4/2014:

1. Adoption of the research master’s student (with Lois)/chemical engineering with a research and Development Center.

2. Approval of the research master’s students (Hadi shamkhi cream)/electrical engineering with computer center of the University of Baghdad.

3. Approval of the research master’s student (Noha Hazem Jihad)/civil engineering with the Najaf Health Department/Ministry of health.

4. Adoption of a doctoral student’s research (Abdul Rahman)/chemical engineering with a research and Development Center.

5. The adoption of the research master’s student (FIRAS Mohammed Hadi)/Department of petroleum engineering research and Development Center.

6. Approval of the research master’s student (Hussein Hamid Baqir)/electrical engineering department with the Ministry of electricity/Department of training and development.

7. Approval of PhD research (Mohammed Sabah Muhammad)/chemical engineering with a research and Development Center.

 

Resolution

Approval of the recommendations of the Commission of the cooperation mechanism in Faculty of engineering for the adoption of a number of research postgraduate students listed in sequence (1-7) above, based on the collaboration mechanism help Ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related Ministry (160) for 2009 that doesn’t conflict with the help and supervision of graduate students in number and scientific levels.
