Baghdad University Council resolutions – 14th session
Fourteenth session
Directives of president of the council:
I. All boards of faculties, institutes and research centers, check the upgrade fully scientific treatment and from all sides (CV, research dissemination year checks submitted for scientific promotion, as well as recommendations in treatment promotion) before submission to the Central Committee of scientific promotions University Presidency.
II. Send research to external evaluators from non-Iraqis living abroad for foreign professors and university research also found benefit from outside expertise in evaluation.
III. All our lecturers urged formations for publication in international journals to give these magazines of scientific support and teachers in Iraqi universities and research there is freedom for the lecturers for publication in any foreign magazine if the search provider of scientific promotion can be considered scientific activity of teaching staff within his biography.
V. University notification when workshops or seminars, new as well as when changing a date these workshops or seminars to enable the University to attend these workshops and inform the Ministry contexts.
Vi. Any good scientific activity (seminars or workshops) must have a scientific payoff for the labor market and society and add to knowledge.
VII. Not giving endorsements (no objection letter) for lecturers and undone after a short period of time.
VIII. Compliance with controls and campus traditions when the graduation ceremonies for students of our University according to direct the Ministry under the guidance and supervision of the Dean.
The council considered the notes by the President of the Central Committee of scientific promotions, No. 67, 2 and 7 and 18 historians on 15/12/2013 and 14 and 27/1 and 16/2/2014, containing the recommendations of the Commission of the central scientific promotions omnibus taken by its eighth and tenth sessions on 3 and 31/12/2013 on upgrading selves trainers listed in the below to the professorship, completing the scientific upgrade requirements in terms of originality in their research and university service.
1. Approve the upgrade selves listed above teachers professorship, effective dates installed about name them all for completing upgrade requirements in terms of originality in their research and service life of the University on any financial implications before the adoption of this campus.
2. Sending congratulations to selves trainers listed in the above to receive the title of professorship.
Extension of university service for faculty members:
The Board considered the notes by the administrative section with two numbers 1672 and 1764 dated 30/3 and 7/4/2004 on the extension of service of teachers mentioned in the table below, based on article 11/I/b of the second amendment to University Service Act (1) for the year 2014.
Agree to extend the service life of the gentlemen listed above teachers for one year on the basis of article (11/I/b) of the second amendment to University Service Act (1) for the year 2014.
The council considered the memoirs Legal Affairs Department with the number 877 and 878 and 875 and 902, 926 and 965 historians on 23, 24 and 26/3, 1/4/2014 involved agreeing to cancel sanctions against faculty members and staff in schools (physical education, education of Humanities/Averroes, science, dentistry). Legal Affairs Department where cancellation of the sanctions mentioned in the above colleges wrote, because conditions for cancelling penalty stipulated in article (13) and (21) of the Act on discipline of public servants and the public sector (14) of 1991 as amended and stipulated conditions, the legal affairs section between the sequences (6-8) in the above table requires approaching the Ministry for the purpose of cancelling the penalty imposed; for she issued a ministerial order, after the debate, the Council adopted resolution follows:
Agree to cancel the fiscal levies sanctions faculty members and staff in colleges (Physical education, education of Humanities/ Ibn Rushd, sciences, dentistry) and listed in the table above for the conditions for cancelling penalty stipulated in article (13) and (21) of the Act on discipline of public servants and the public sector (14) 1991 rate with no award presented because they benefit from book of thanks and appreciation from the Minister to raise the penalty.
The Board considered the written Engineering College with o/127, 128, 129, 130, 131, 132 in 7/4/2004 on the Commission’s recommendations for the adoption of a number of postgraduate research contained in the minutes of the 12th meeting held on 5 March 2014 as follows:
1. Adoption of the research master’s student (Layla khudair Gadou)/mechanical engineering department with development and training section – administrative and finance-general company for heavy engineering equipment.
2. Approval of the master’s student research (Riam Jalil al-Rikabi)/Department of petroleum engineering research and development center.
3. Approval of the research master’s student (Haidar Salim Jasim)/Department of petroleum engineering research and Development Center.
4. Approval of the research master’s student (Amal Habib Assi)/Department of petroleum engineering research and Development Center.
5. The adoption of the research master’s student (Mohammad Faleh Jami’)/Department of petroleum engineering research and Development Center.
6. Approval of the research master’s student (Saif Hassan Abdul Nabi)/electrical engineering with computer Center – University of Baghdad. Having considered the recommendation of the Faculty Council mentioned above and contracts, the Council adopted this resolution as follows:
The Board considered a note by the Scientific Affairs Division with 280, dated March 31, 2014 and the annex to the recommendation of the Committee on cooperation mechanism in Faculty of Humanities- Ibn Rushd held on 20/3/2014 included approving emptied (a. m. d. Mushtaq Abbas Maan) – teaching staff in college to work as a consultant in the Office of the Shiite Waqf – Abbasid holy shrine to one day a week, based on the collaboration mechanism help Ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related Ministry (160) for 2009 After discussion, the Council adopted resolution:
Approve emptied (a. m. d. Mushtaq Abbas Maen) to work as a consultant in the Office of the Shiite Waqf – Abbasid holy shrine to one day a week, based on the collaboration mechanism help Ministry of higher education and research with relevant ministries and non-related Ministry (160) for 2009.
