Workshop on ground penetrating radar and its applications

  Under the auspices of the dean of the faculty of science, Assistant Prof. Dr. Fadhil Abid Resn and in the presence of the associate dean for scientific affairs, Dr. Ali Makki and a number of professors at astronomy and remote sensor departments, remote sensing unit at the faculty of science held a workshop on ground penetration radar and its applications at the hall of remote sensor and GIS in which a brief review was given about this device and its most important practical applications, the first lecture shed light on how to use this radar to find human beings delivered by the teacher Dr. Leith Aziz Jawad while the other one was delivered by assistant teacher Anas Abdul Razaq Mohammed entitled (remote sensor and ground penetrating radar for detecting traces).
