The beginning of the Iraqi day campaign against terrorism and genocide

  College of arts at University of Baghdad announced a campaign against terrorism and genocide that includes eleven Iraqi provinces. Prof. Dr. Salah Flaifil Ayed al-jabri, dean of the college stated that the campaign aimed at launching a new cultural project in Iraq led by the university as the first stage for presenting scientific researches and generalization of the experience of Baghdad University in the field of genocide and counter-terrorism studies, as well as the experience of Kufa University in the field of interfaith dialogue at the level of all Iraqi universities and their research centers. He explained that the cultural content of this campaign would be announced on satellite TV channels and social media to prepare the public opinion and university community in advance so that it would succeed in achieving its goals in ways that affect the whole social awareness and behavior. He added that this campaign includes Baghdad, Karbala, Najaf, Dhi Qar, Maysan, Qadisiyah, Wasit, Muthanna, Anbar, Diyala and Salahuddin through coordination between local government, the provincial council, sacred religious shrines, universities, colleges, school and municipal directorates. Academics and civilian activists from other Arab or foreign countries other than Iraq would participate in this event.
