A Symposium about woman , the young and the challenges of the age in the Islamic Science /University of Baghdad
College of Islamic Science / University of Baghdad held a cultural symposium entitled (The Young and the challenges of the age) to enlight the way for the promising young people. The faculty members Intsar Hassoun Radha , Sa’diya A’akul and Khansaa’ Hussein delivered lectures emphasizing the role of Muslim women in the era of challenges describig her as a mother who educates and raise up .The female researchers indicated how Islam gave importance to the mind of the women and teaching her the religion matters and her right to live, as well as the lectures confirmed the character of Muslim women and how they gave birth to the leaders and heroes, and their role in promoting Islamic culture, especially in the current era: era of culture and science in the fields of life. The symposium showed the role of Muslim women in clarifying their values and principles, describing her as a lighthouse which should be exemplaried in every honoured work she did .The lecturers went on to explain the duties , functions and the components that should be available in the mother and the family to protect the young and make them a lighthouse to defy all the difficulties and temptations they encounter in their lives.
