College of Education for girls at Baghdad University Celebrates International Women’s Day
Women’s Research unit in the College of Education for Girls at Baghdad University held its annual celebration on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The Dean of the College Dr. Shurooq Kadhem delivered a speech on this occasion saying , “Let’s stand respectfully and remember together every word , act and gesture that made tears come down from her eye intentionally or without her feeling we wipe with love and kindness, sincerity and tolerance ; her land is green fruitful and colorful,she is the address of love and loyalty, so love greeting in her anniversary.” The celebration included reading a poem of the representative of the university president and director of media and public relations, Dr. Kadhem Al-Omran, entitled (Baghdad). Dr. Shurooq Kadhim also distributed estimated gifts to some of the female faculty members and prominent employees . Director of Women’s Research Unit Dr. Hala Mohammed Abdulrahman attended the ceremony, as well as heads of departments of the college and their female students.
